How to play
Every day brings seven prompts — the same seven for every player. The goal isn't to be right; it's to be right in a way nobody else thought of.
A dive, step by step
- Read the prompt. You get three seconds to think before the clock starts.
- Type one answer within 25 seconds and press DIVE.
- Misspelled? You will be offered a correction — press DIVE again to accept it.
- Not on the answer sheet? Try again while time remains.
- Your answer lands in a rarity tier. Every point sinks you 10 metres.
- Seven prompts later, see how deep you reached and share your dive.
Rarity tiers
| 🌟 One in a Krillion | The hidden pearl. Straight to the bottom. | +100 |
| 🏮 Deep Cut | Hardly anyone reaches this far down. | +85 |
| 🦑 Rare | Off the beaten current. Good find. | +60 |
| 🐟 Schooler | A respectable pick. Plenty of company. | +30 |
| 🤡 Too Clever | Felt sneaky. Half the ocean had the same idea. | +15 |
| 🫧 Plankton | First thing on everyone's tongue. | +10 |
| ⬛ Miss | No valid answer before the clock ran out. | +0 |
Watch out for Too Clever: the answer that feels like a secret but turns out to be everyone's "obscure" pick.
How deep can you go?
Each point is worth 10 metres. A perfect dive is 700 points — 7,000 m.
- 0+ pts — Still splashing near the surface.
- 151+ pts — Comfortably mid-water. Solid dive.
- 251+ pts — Past the light. Now we're talking.
- 351+ pts — Few divers ever see these depths.
- 450+ pts — Trench dweller. Truly one in a krillion.
