Privacy policy

Who we are

Krillion Daily is a free browser game at www.onekrillion.com. Questions about this policy go to hello@onekrillion.com.

The game saves a few things in your browser's local storage so it works between visits:

your streak, best score, games played and today's progress or result;
a random player ID, created on your first visit. It isn't linked to your name, email or account — there are no accounts.

Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it and resets your stats.

Your answers. Each answer is sent to our server to be judged. For the daily dive, our server passes your answer, the date, the prompt number and your player ID to our game-data partner, judges it and returns the rarity tier. When you finish a daily dive, your total score is passed on the same way.
Usage analytics. We use Mixpanel to understand how the game is played. It receives page visits and game events — game started, each answer (prompt, what you typed, tier, points and time left) and game completed — along with your player ID and the basic details any website sees: browser, device type, referring page and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
Server logs. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser) to run and secure the site.

We don't ask for your name, email or any account details.
We don't sell your data or use advertising cookies.
We don't use your answers for anything other than running and improving the game.

To run the game (judging answers, keeping your streak), to fix problems, and to improve prompts and rarity tiers based on how people actually play.

Clear this site's data in your browser to remove everything stored on your device.
Content blockers that block analytics will stop Mixpanel; the game keeps working without it.
To ask us to delete the analytics linked to you, email hello@onekrillion.com with your player ID, which you can find on the contact page.

The game isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
